Re: Roberto Jimenez
I've had discussions with some of them, and yes, they see it as a positive, to be honest so do I, and I hope he gets game time for them
could be absolute comedy gold

Re: Roberto Jimenez
Are they?
He’s their 3rd keeper
And he hasn’t saved a shot low to his left since 2016

Re: Roberto Jimenez
talking about whether we only see faults in our own players, I find it amazing that spurs fans are creaming themselves over signing Joe hart

Re: Roberto Jimenez
Every goalkeeper makes mistakes but think it’s one position where it is possible to look at them doing the basics for 5 mins in a warm up and identify a dud.
Just looked a wrong un from minute 1.
Poor judgement, poor technically & a PANICKER
I challenge anyone to point to anything positive about him

And Pellegrini wanted him as first choice ahead of Fabianski
Which is more astounding every time you think about it

Re: Roberto Jimenez
As a football club, that's got to be one of the ultimate gaffs, getting a cunt like this clown on board at £38,000 a week, on a two year contract, watching him chuck them in and put us in danger of relegation, single handedly, then having to stump up nearly £2,000,000 so he agrees to leave.

Re: Roberto Jimenez
Another total dud

I follow Spanish football quite a bit due to my dad's side and this was another signing that mystified me (along with Sanchez and Wilshire)

He was well known for being a goalie prone to costly clangers...nobody in Spain has ever rated him so the one and only reason he ended up here was due to trouser pocketing.

Re: Roberto Jimenez
Surely we've got to be the worst run club in the Premier League

Or is it just because we know more about our own failures than we do those of other clubs?

Would we be laughing at another club who pays Sanchez £70k/week, gives Jack Wilshere a 3 year deal worth £100k, signs Jordan Hugill and never plays him, gives Cresswell and Masuaku extended contracts even though they've turned to shit/always were shit/can't play, sacks one manager for getting 19 points from 19 games and retains - and vocally supports - another for getting 20 points from the next 19 games

Or do other fans have similar gripes?

Paid him off...

Re: Roberto Jimenez
That's probably why he did alright.

If he doesn't play, he can't make mistakes.

they dropped him

Re: Roberto Jimenez
We let him slip through our fingers. Ironic.

Re: Roberto Jimenez
He actually did alright at Alaves, to be fair.

Maybe being homesick made him act a cunt between the sticks.

Jasnik 10:39 Thu Aug 27
Re: Roberto Jimenez
Im suprsied we even got him off our book even for that.

Never seen such a bad goalkeeper.

Re: Roberto Jimenez
Evening Standard reckons he has gone for free AND we are subsidising his wages. Seems like we make a loss on every deal which only goes to show what ridiculous signings and contracts we have agreed. Agents must love West Ham.

Re: Roberto Jimenez
I'd celebrate £10.

Obviously, I'd spend less than £10 celebrating.

Re: Roberto Jimenez
He's off to Real Valladolid and we are actually going to get a small fee. How about that

gph 9:53 Wed Aug 26
Re: ROBERTO JIMENEZ
Put him on the bench as a fullback.

Might wake up somebody's ideas...

Re: ROBERTO JIMENEZ
Shouldn't even have been on the bench yesterday. Needs to be given a very clear message that he's not in the manager's plans. Get his agent to pull his finger out and think about taking a pay cut if he ever wants to play again.

Re: ROBERTO JIMENEZ
What are you afraid of? He's the 4th choice goalkeeper.
----------------

Has he been promoted then? 20 year old Anang came on in one of the games didn't he?

Sir Alf 7:22 Wed Aug 26
Re: ROBERTO JIMENEZ
He was lined up to prepare the refreshments for the 2 drinks breaks. Dropped the lot... twice allegedly?

Sullivan is getting a sandwich board made for him so he can walk around the pitch doing some advertising. "Red Hot Pleasure Appliances available in the Club Shop" or "Give Generously - Support the Transfer Kitty".

Allan Mcknight finally able to cast off his title as worst West Ham keeper ever. :-)

Re: ROBERTO JIMENEZ
3rd choice in the Cups.

2nd choice in the cups if we get an injury = on the bench = on the pitch if we get another injury in the match.

The chain of unfortunate incidents isn't long enough
